SoccerFit Newsletter March 2007

Hello,

SoccerFit Goes to University

Hope you've had a great summer. The cooler Autumn weather is perfect for playing soccer and getting fit. Thankfully, there are now more places than ever before to try SoccerFit. We've recently added Sydney University, a college with a great soccer history, to our list of venues. Hopefully participants will have as enjoyable an experience as some of those whose comments we feature in today's newsletter. Enjoy!

What people are saying about SoccerFit!

Sako Hampartzoumian :"My feet want to kick a ball so desperately, and I cannot wait to get back into it. Thanks to SoccerFit, and a great coach, never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that - even at my level - I'd be so hooked and addicted to soccer"

Barbara O'Donovan :"It's awesome!!!"

Julieann Brooker  :"I started playing soccer because it seemed like a great opportunity to keep fit, outdoors, while my daughter played nearby. Now I’m hooked. I played my first winter season with Queen’s Park Over-35 women, and am playing in the Summer Sixes too. Some of the women played at school, some of us haven’t played a team sport since. Not having grown up with soccer, I’m learning a lot of skills from the SoccerFit guys, and it’s always a fun training session – the hour flies."

Louise Mazzaroli :"Wonderful way to keep fit and learn football skills. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff - make it enjoyable and great fun. One is never too old to keep fit and learn."

Good Luck in the season ahead to the 'SoccerFit Step-ups'

Most of the state-wide soccer competitions get underway in the next several weeks. We'd like to wish everyone a great season, but we'll keep a special eye out for all our SoccerFit participants who have worked really hard to hone their skills and stay in shape over the past several months. In particular, our best wishes to the SoccerFit Step-ups, those whose first introduction to the game was through SoccerFit and now feel ready to try step up to a suitable competitive level.
